Day 1: Enjoy dinner at the Yamagataya hot spring inn, using Aizu lacquerware with over 500 years of history, paired with sake and Kitakata’s local ingredients. 

Day 2: Create your own original Aizu lacquerware.

Indulge in a luxurious time at the Yamagataya hot spring inn, where each dish is carefully selected and paired with 9 types of sake and the beauty of Aizu lacquerware.

“The best way to enjoy Kitakata’s sake is with Kitakata’s food and Kitakata’s lacquerware.” With this in mind, Yamagataya has teamed up with Yamatogawa Sake Brewery and Aizu-no Lacquerware to offer a special plan that allows you to fully enjoy the charm of Kitakata!

Limited edition sake, available only during certain seasons, will also be provided.

Additionally, you can experience decorating various Aizu lacquerware with maki-e, each with different colors and shapes. A professional maki-e artist will carefully guide you through the process, so you can enjoy it with confidence. Make your home evening even more wonderful with our original sake cups.

Relax and enjoy our original creative cuisine, which focuses on local production for local consumption.

You can use the large public bath and open-air bath anytime during your stay.
There is a large public bath and an open-air bath for each gender (switched at midnight).
