【OUTLINE】
We will guide you to a secluded, closed-off quarry deep in the mountains while walking on forest roads and taking a forest bath! A tour to experience the world of Ghibli. The quarrying of stone began around 1887 (Meiji 20), approximately 140 years ago, but after the war, as cement became widely used as a building material, the demand for stone drastically decreased, and the mine was abandoned. We will guide you to another world on a mystical tour.

[00:00] Registration, Helmets and Boots Fitting (Meeting Point: Kanazu Forest of Creation Museum) The story begins. Put on your safety gear and head into the mountains.
[00:10] Forest Trekking (Approx. 20 minutes) Walk through the forest where only the sounds of birds and the wind can be heard, allowing your mind to unwind.
[00:30] Tunnel Passage→To the Quarry Ruins Pass through the tunnel entrance, and the world completely changes. A space surrounded by rock walls, cool air, the emerald-colored surface of the water shimmering—this is the "Stone Sanctuary" where time stands still.
[01:10] Stroll on the Way Back A journey to quietly return to reality, all the while being healed by the forest.

Clothes： ・Long pants and boots recommended even in summer (boots included in fee, sizes up to 30cm available). ・Wear non-slip walking shoes and clothing that can get dirty. A light jacket is advisable even in summer.

Other things to note： ・Boots (Rental): We have boots available in the following sizes: Men's 25.0cm to 30.0cm, and Women's 23.5cm to 28.0cm. Size exchanges are possible on the day if stock is available. If your size falls outside of the ranges above, we will also make preparations for you, so please state your shoe size in the participant information upon application.
・ Season and Schedule: This plan is available for a limited time from March to November. Please note that the starting time varies by season:
March - May: 15:00 - 16:30 June - August: 14:30 - 16:00 (The temperature difference experience is most vivid in summer!) September - November: 14:00 - 15:30
・Tour Experience: This tour is a quiet, immersive experience at the quarry. The guide's interaction will be basic, allowing you to fully enjoy the natural beauty and atmosphere.
・Cancellation due to Weather: This tour will proceed if the rainfall forecast for the day of the tour is 1mm or less as of 5:00 PM the day before. If the forecast is 2mm or more, the tour will be canceled. In case of cancellation, a full refund will be issued. Please note that we cannot offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows based on the customer's personal judgment regarding the weather. If a rain forecast is issued, the tour operator will notify you via email at 5:00 PM the day before regarding whether the tour will be held. Please check your email.
