Paper band bag making experience (with lunch)

*OUTLINE

Fuji City enjoyed the prosperity with paper industry since long time ago based on its abundant water resourses.  You will make your original bag by braiding "paper bands" produced in Fuji City.  This special plan includes lunch with a chose of the city's local gourmet called  "Tsuke Napolitan," noodles dipped in a separate tomato-based soup

Paper bands were originally used as a packing material.  The beginning of this craft started by braiding paper bands to make small articles.  Paper bands are a reusable eco-friendly material and rich in color variation.  You can make a wide range of crafts using paper bands such as bags and inteior ornaments.  Try to make a bag this time! 

2. Let's start!

Please choose your favorite color out of 8 choices.  Our staff will kindly show you how to braid paper bands. 

3. Lunch

We have a stylish café in our shop.  You can choose your favorite from our menu.  Our recommendation is  "Tsuke Napolitan," famous as a local gourmet in Fuji City, Shizuoka.  Tsuke Napolitan consists of seprate servings of noodles and tomato-based soup.  Dip the noodle in the soup and enjoy the local's favorite!

How did you enjoy the paper bands craft?  We will take a commemorative photo of you with your bag!  The photo will be offered in a photo frame made of paper bands.
